The latest episode of Mars Attacks contains an interview with Erik Kluiber of the band Gypsyhawk. For those keeping track, Erik aka Ron Houser has been a good friend of the podcast since its inception, and has come on multiple times to discuss the various bands he’s been involved with over the years. During this episode we take sort of a story tellers approach, and discuss tracks from his previous bands Overloaded and White Wizzard, as well as a track off of Gypsyhawk’s latest release Revelry and Resilience. Afterwards we discuss the new material they’re in the process of writing and playing live. Whether crowdfunding is the way of the future for the music industry (the band has taken part in several campaigns). His switch to Dean Guitars, an interview former guitarist Andrew Packer did with The Great Southern Brainfart regarding his departure from the band. And Gypsyhawk’s switch to their new guitarist Bryant Throckmorton, and what that means to the new albums song writing process.
Throughout the episode you’ll hear music by Gypsyhawk, Overloaded and White Wizzard. Support the bands you love and help support the podcast at the same time, go to our Amazon store and pick up any of the albums featured during this episode here.
